The Christmas Masquerade | Christmas Stories

In "The Christmas Masquerade," a mayor throws a costume party for all the city's children, procuring costumes from a mysterious new shopkeeper. The magical costumes are so effective that after the party, they cannot be removed, and the children permanently adopt the personalities of their roles (rich kids as humble folk, poor kids as royalty), causing city-wide panic. After failed attempts to solve the crisis, the mayor's daughter Violetta enlists the help of the kind Cherry Man, who finds the shopkeeper.
