Welcome to the One Hundred & Forty-Eighth Edition of The Chronicles Of Podcast, These are The Chronicles of Crashface We sit down with alternative rock duo Crashface, featuring Charlie Hinton and Otto Balfour, for an exclusive deep dive into their musical journey. From their early career aspirations to discovering rock music through video games like Guitar Hero and Tony Hawk's, we discuss it all. Learn about the origins of Crashface, their recent headline tour, and an in-depth look at their explosive EP Life and Death in the Wasteland. The duo shares the story behind the EP's name, their collaboration with Sam Matlock from Wargasm, and their favourite tracks off the record. We also dive into the weird and wonderful topics that we all somehow relate to! Why did we think hiding in clothing rails as kids was a brilliant idea? Pigeons being scared of buses? We ask 'is there a child out there named Daffodil?' We also ponder the eternal mystery: why is Pingu’s dad always ironing? Jamie shares his experience at the Birmingham Horror Film Festival, supporting friend of the show Braden Barrie, while Tom gives an update on his NFL fantasy football streak. Don’t miss our regular segments – Tom's Journal brings the funniest internet gems of the week, and in Jamie’s Audience Participation Challenge, we ask: who would you most like to read you a bedtime story? (Sadly, no Callum’s Teachings this week, but we’ll make up for it!)
