The Church and Her Calling: Episode 2, What She Is and What She Is Not E012• 2026

In Episode 1, we introduced the foundation of this series by affirming that the Church is part of God’s eternal purpose. We briefly touched on what the Church is and why her identity matters. In this episode, we slow down and expound that truth. What does Scripture actually mean by “the Church”? Is it a building, an institution, or something far deeper? We examine the biblical meaning of the Church as the called out ones, the living body of Christ, born through the Spirit and belonging entirely to Him. Before we can understand the Church’s calling, we must clearly understand her identity.
