The religious leaders are divided about how to handle this situation. They cannot deny that the lame man they healed had been lame from birth.....and they could not deny that the lame man had obviously been healed! The religious leaders release James and John, but warn them to no longer teach in Jesus name. Peter and John make it very clear that they will continue to teach in Jesus name!
