This section of scripture shows the church all working together in one mind and spirit, meeting everyone’s needs. This does not last because the first sin crashes in on the church and breaks the perfect unity. The apostles speak boldly, and the church responds by giving cheerfully and meeting everyone’s needs. “Abundant grace was upon them all.” We then meet Ananias and Saphira who lie to the church out of pride and greed.
