The Church's Transgender Policy

Baptism, Confirmation For Those Who Transition The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints allows for certain transgender individuals to be baptized and confirmed. However, if a transgender individual is living a life of surgical or social transition, then there are church restrictions in place which include temple recommends, temple ordinances, priesthood ordination, exercising the priesthood, and some callings. Preferred pronouns and names are part of what constitutes social transition.  All are welcome to Sunday meetings and should be treated with respect and love.   Website - www.cwicmedia.com
