This is a great movie for getting at the fear of intimacy. It exposes the ego's desire for privacy, the belief in need for privacy versus transparency and openness. There's a great fear of true joining, true intimacy, true sharing and transparency. The fear of the ego is that something in the world will be misused in a destructive way. Is what's being presented in form good or evil, safe or not safe? But this is form versus content. There's no solution in trying to find the right form, the right balance between autonomy and personal freedom, the good of the individual versus what's for the good of society. Both the individual and society are illusions.
