The City of Johannesburg Executive Deputy Mayor, Cllr. Loyiso Masuku, who delivered the Budget Speech under the theme “Building Johannesburg Together: Investing Today, Securing Tomorrow,” focuses on service delivery, infrastructure upgrades, and economic recovery. It prioritises stabilising electricity, water, and waste services, while also directing investment toward roads, bridges, public facilities, housing, and informal settlement upgrades. The budget also puts strong emphasis on local economic development, small business support, community programmes, public safety, and by-law enforcement.
