Curious, the two collectors followed him deep into a rural area to an abandoned barn sitting alone off a gravel road.Inside the barn, hidden away in an old trunk, was a fragile Civil War medic’s cap connected to the seller’s family. Even stranger, the man refused to go near the trunk himself, insisting the others open it instead.The other collector ultimately purchased the cap.
