The Clean Cut Murder: How an Electric Saw and a Dream Job Lured Mina Moussa into a Sophisticated Trap

Mina Moussa, a 20-year-old nurse, was lured from his hometown to Cairo by a fake job offer. Soon afterward, his dismembered remains were discovered scattered in the Ismailia Canal and nearby areas, sparking a major public-opinion case in Egypt because of the crime’s brutality and Mina’s reputation as a good-natured young man. Police investigations led to the arrest of two men, Mostafa and Ibrahim, who confessed to kidnapping Mina for ransom. When their plan unraveled, they murdered him and used a power saw to dispose of his body parts.
