The Clone Conspiracy & Truth & Consequences: A Bad Batch S2 Ep 7 & 8 Review

In "The Clone Conspiracy," Slip and Cade, two clones, try to uncover the truth about what happened on Kamino. As the Senate debates the Defense Recruitment Bill, Slip meets with Senator Chuchi to reveal that Kamino was destroyed on Rampart's orders. Slip and Chuchi find themselves in danger from a sniper, but are saved by Captain Rex. In "Truth & Consequences," the Bad Batch joins forces with Captain Rex for a mission to retrieve Rampart's ship's log and prove his involvement in the destruction of Kamino's cloning facilities. The mission is successful, but the Defense Recruitment Bill passes and the fate of the clones is sealed. Echo decides to stay behind and work with Rex to defeat the Empire, while Omega and Echo have an emotional goodbye.
