The Coaching Hype Machine

On today’s show, Erik and Matt dove into NFL Daily’s Head Coaching Draft — and some of the selections had the boys fired up immediately. From overrated “media darling” coaches to the constant reshuffling of who’s considered elite, the conversation turned into a full breakdown of how certain names keep getting protected no matter the results. The guys gave their own rankings and analysis while questioning the logic behind some of the league’s most beloved head coaches getting endless praise despite clear flaws and postseason failures. Of course, it wouldn’t be an NFL conversation without the ongoing disrespect toward Nick Sirianni. Erik and Matt go all-in on why Sirianni continues to get treated differently than other winning coaches around the league, despite stacking victories and keeping the Eagles in contention year after year.A lot of laughs, a lot of frustration, and plenty of strong opinions on how the NFL coaching hierarchy is viewed versus what’s actually happening on the field.
