The Comfort of Conforming to Christ

Although we think of our good in terms of being safe, comfortable, and happy, God, who defines goodness in Himself, calls being made like Him good. Indeed, Hebrews 12:10 expresses the same reality as the catechism: "For [our earthly father] disciplined us for a short time as it seemed best to them, but [God] disciplines us for our good, that we may share his holiness."
