The Comfortable Jesus
from Excelling in Christ Hosted by Clarence Fell
It’s not about you; it’s about Christ. Many people want Jesus to improve their lives without ruling their lives, but the Bible calls us to something deeper than comfort, entertainment, or self-centered religion. Jesus came to seek and save the lost, save us from sin, and call us to deny ourselves, take up the cross daily, and follow Him. The gospel is not a feel-good show designed to tickle ears; it is God’s power to save. This lesson challenges believers to follow the real Jesus, even when truth costs the crowd.
