At Christmas we think often think of a bright star, angels singing, the manger, and the Messiah being born. Rightfully so. But perhaps we need to change our perspective. Have you ever thought of what Jesus had to give up to born that day? The King of all creation willingly laid aside everything to come as a child to a poor family from Nazareth. That cradle led to a cross, and the cross back to His throne.
