The Coming Messiah V: The Connection between David and Immanuel

This week, we continue our look at Isaiah’s descriptions of Immanuel. John Snyder focuses on the connection between King David of the Old Testament and the coming Messiah. Scripture offers an illustration that the Immanuel will come from the root of Jesse. But why is this important to us today? Meditating on these promises will help deepen our understanding of God, His faithfulness, and His zeal in redeeming a people for His glory. Want to listen to The Whole Counsel on the go?
