The Coming of the Servant

Israel was meant to draw the nations to God, but its unbelief drove people away and left Israel needing rescue. Isaiah 49 promises a servant called Israel who will bring Israel home and carry God's salvation to the nations. Jesus fulfils that promise. His authoritative ministry brought rejection and death, but the Father raised Him and showed that His service was complete rather than wasted.
