The Commonwealth Beat with Laura LeBeau is a statewide Public Affairs program airing on all Seven Mountains Media Pennsylvania radio stations.   There's a shortage of sports officials in this country, and Pennsylvania is not immune.  So if there's no one overseeing the games, especially at the junior and senior high school levels, what will become of interscholastic sports?  Dr. Robert Lombardi, Executive Director of the PA Interscholastic Athletic Association will discuss that shortage, as well a a number of other issues confronting scholastic sports.  In the PA-mazing segment, we'll take a trip to Lebanon County, where tucked into a corner of North Lebanon Township sits Union Canal Tunnel Park.  It's been logged into the registry of National Historic Sites because its the oldest water transportation tunnel in the US.  Find out about its construction, and the special place it holds in American and Pennsylvania history.
