The Composition 060 - Keep Going

Working for yourself can be very trying, but it's supposed to! If it wasn't everyone would be doing it lol. This episode is if you are feeling down, like is this worth it? Should I keep going? Etc, this is for you. It's tough, you can market and promote, get a bunch of likes or not a lot, and people will just not buy. It happens. The main thing to remember during this time is you should 100% still be pushing your craft, product, service, etc because there are people that are financially fine right now. Even those who are not how are you engaging with them? The thing is you cannot always tell, so it really shouldn't be on your mind like that. Some people can "look broke" and be rich af, then there are those that look rich and be broke af lol. That is social media for you. It's important to understand no matter if you are working for yourself or a musician or artist, that potential clients, customers, family, friends, are NOT OBLIGATED TO GET YOUR SHIT lol. Please understand and swallow that pill. It is your job to present it, market, promote it in a way that converts. So yes, the thought creeps in my mind, but I always have to check myself. The main thing is to Keep Going! Something worthwhile doesn't happen overnight :) Also, remember how social media algorithms work and know that a platform is also a business, so there are going to be stuff you can do for free or organic reach and there are parts you have to pay for. Lol, we just don't want to pay. If you are frustrated with your reach, buy some 5 dollar ads every week. Start small.
