The Concept of Soul-Ties

This relatively new concept popularized in the early 2000's and first originated in the New Age Movement System. In scripture it is a deep spiritual, emotional and relational bond between two individuals. Good spirits do not attach themselves to evil spirits. Nor can an evil spirit attach itself to the Holy spirit. You cannot attach your spirit to someone else's. You can, however, be influenced by someone else's spirit if you open the portal to darkness by attaching to negativity and demonic spirits.Soul ties are emotional bonds that form an attachment. They may be Godly or ungodly, pure or demonic. Contrary to what is commonly believed soul ties are not always links between individuals, these ties can form an ungodly attachment with people, places, or things. That's right! People can be overly attached to pets, possessions (stuff), or anything else imaginable...'you are a slave to whatever controls you'. II Peter 2:19Believers are encouraged to trust in God, and Him only to bring peace, and restoration to the soul. Explore some scriptural verses as Christ sets the example to abiding in the right spirit and shun the evil. We are created to need an intimate relationship with God and each other, not with the spirit of darkness and evil. Anxiety can trigger depression and other behavioral, physical, and mental health issues.
