The confederate flag represents The Iroquois Confederation. The Iroquois was a confederation on native Aborigines Americans which was originally composed of 5 tribes Mohawk, Oneida , Onondaga, Cayuga and Seneca people. Iroquois was a language that was spoken among those tribes. During the Civil War 3,000 and 6,000 Negro Americans served as confederate soldiers. 100,000 Negro Americans supported the confederacy as Labourers , servant and Teamsters. Secondly Negro Americans were fighting for their lands . Contrary to popular belief in 1910 Negro Americans owned 20. Millions acres of land. This was after the civil war. The thirteen stars represented the thirteen Southern states. Mississippi, Florida, Alabama, Georgia, Louisiana, Texas , Virginia, West Virginia, Arkansas, Tennessee, North Carolina South Carolina, Missouri and Kentucky . Negro we’re not only fighting for freedom they were fighting for their lands.
