“The Connection: Genuine Love and Keeping the Lord’s Commands” by Greg Chandler

Throughout the Bible’s entirety, there is a heavy emphasis on obeying the commands given by God. In fact, Jesus stated, “If you love Me, you will keep My commandments” (John 14:15). There is, however, the danger of coming to believe that obedience to the commandments is all that is involved in loving God; such a conclusion is spiritually detrimental! This study will focus on what it means to have a genuine love for God and how keeping His commands relates to this. A sermon given by Greg Chandler on November 26, 2023.
