Humankind is doomed without Jesus. From the time we are born, we have a sinful condition that separates us from God. There’s absolutely nothing we can do to close the gap between us. Even perfection is not enough. That would be really hopeless if it was the end of the story. But thankfully, it’s not. God knew we couldn’t close the gap by ourselves, so He made a way to do it. He sent His Son to earth to be the sacrifice for us. Our perfection is not enough, but He is. Our works are not enough, but He already accomplished all the work for us.
