The Covenant of God in Christ Part 11 - Take Eat, This is My Body

To me, profound words in the Bible includes Jesus speaking to His disciples as they ate the Passover bread.  "Take and eat this is my Body."  This Feast represents the offering of the Body and Blood of Christ and our admission into the Kingdom of God.  We as participants of The True Passover, are told to Take and Eat of His Body that was given for us.  In John's Gospel, Jesus said unless you eat my flesh and drink my blood you do not receive eternal life.  Eating of Him is the essential diet of the Church.   We have been told much of our lives that we are what we eat.  This is so true.  Unless we eat His flesh and drink His blood, we do not belong to Him, and by eating of Him we are His Body.  Christ is the essential diet for the believer!  Glory to God.
