The Crane Express

The Crane Express is a short story about six fat, fluffy little birds sitting on the shore of the Mediterranean Sea, dreaming of Africa and its famously flavourful worms. Too small to make the crossing themselves, they wait for help — first turning down a fish with dangerous intentions, then receiving wise advice from a passing sheep.
