The Crave More Life Roadshow with guest Nora Imrie

from The Crave More Life Roadshow · host Dianna Leeder

Nora is a young at heart wife, mom, and grandmother who raised her family in a small, rural town. As a career educator, her goal was always to make a difference in the life of each student by helping them use their inner strengths to build on their areas of need. Retired from teaching and administrative roles, Nora now supports Teacher Candidates during their placements in classrooms. Turns out that what she knew would support both students and teachers, is what actually helped her as she struggled with the unthinkable. Nora wrote in the first edition of Find Your Voice, Save Your Life, where she shared her story of the heartache she experienced when one of her children committed a devastating crime. In her chapter, My Shattered Heart Beats Stronger, Nora talks about her realization that moving on after such a life-changing event meant digging deeply and finding her own inner strength. She knows she's not alone in this experience as a mother and wants other moms going through the same thing to know that even in the darkest of times, you too can still use your inner strength to rise above and find the silver lining. In this episode, you'll hear: - how Nora had to look inside to survive -the awareness that she had to come to support herself and her family -how Nora's devastating experience can help another parent who walks the same path Connect with Nora here.
