Corner Booth at Rex's This week’s Corner Booth at Rex’s episode is on The Creator. This was a movie that took us by surprise in the middle of the year and it became one of the movies we slotted for this discussion once we saw the trailer. Gareth Edwards describes this movie as, “A mix of Blade Runner and Apocalypse Now.” Troy takes us on an unexpected detour into a discussion of Jai Courtney’s mid-career Hollywood “it” guy. We stay spoiler free until the 25 minute mark. We saw that a lot of people read into the Vietnam slant of the movie and that is because Gareth Edwards actually said he wanted to make a movie about the Vietnam war so…ignore us trying to dismiss it.
