When a mixed group of kids serving detention stumble upon a mysterious ooze, they are suddenly turned into adorable mutated creatures! Discovering the little monsters, Jack Black must keep them out of trouble and find out the truth about the industrial company, Creep Corp, colluding with the crooked principal (Bill Hader). Also starring Anna Kendrick (Pitch Perfect, Scott Pilgrim vs. The World) as the music teacher trying to put the school play together, who teams up with Jack Black and the monster kids.
