The Crematorium
from Don't Fall Asleep Hosted by The Midnight Host
Apologies for the week delay! Tonight, we’ll stay true to our tagline, and have an episode of the macabre! Let me set the scene: deep in the heart of a prestigious New England college, we find a medical student working alone in the crematorium. Having just lost their grandfather, our student was given the job of caretaker while they’re on a leave of absence from classes. Despite what you and I might feel, the student enjoys the work there, and finds it comforting to stay busy. But that sense of safety is broken one night when a particularly strange cadaver arrives, and voices begin to whisper from the flames of the cremation chamber… This story is called “They Spoke Through the Fire”, and was written by Chomps_Lewis.
