The Cross and the Empty Tomb
from LCC Sunday Messages Hosted by Steve Forrester
The cross wasn’t a defeat—it was the fulfillment. The empty tomb wasn’t a surprise—it was the promise kept. Today, we reflect on the greatest turning point in history: the moment Jesus declared “It is finished” and the morning the stone was rolled away. Through the agony of the cross and the glory of the resurrection, God completed the work of redemption and opened the door of salvation to all who believe. Come celebrate the victory that changed everything. The cross paid the price. The tomb proved the promise. Now, hope lives forever.
