"The Crowd" and "The Conqueror Worm" (Halloween Special)
from Thin Places Podcast Hosted by Father Lee McLeod CJ
Welcome to our Halloween Special! Join Fr. Lee for a little spooky fun, as he shares a couple of his favorite seasonal stories. WARNING: the stories here are spooky - not scary, just thrilling. But if that might upset you, then just skip it and wait for the Sunday sermon! If you're still on-the-fence, let me share a short poem I include along with our Halloween candy each year: "On the Eve of All Saints' Day, Jack-o-Lanterns light the way. God's children need no longer fear the ghosts and goblins gathered here. For evil ghouls with icy breath must bow to Him who conquered death." Stories in this episode: "The Crowd" (1955) by Ray Bradbury and "The Conqueror Worm” (1843) by Edgar Allen Poe Have a safe Hallowmas friends! music provided by: Music from #Uppbeat (free for Creators!): https://uppbeat.io/t/danijel-zambo/friendly-ghost License code: LRQDYLPOAJEMRXF2 And from Pixabay.com "Horror Piano" by Nikita Kondrashev
