The Customer Is Not Always Right

from Dentistry On FIRE · host Dr. Jeff Buske

Dr. Buske was having a great day delivering smiles and having fun with his patients. He had a new patient consultation coming up with an open slot following it.  An established patient with some tooth pain took the open spot.  While Dr. Buske met with his new patient, his assistant began his next appointment.  Wanting to get a new x-ray to see exactly where the pain was coming from, the assistant was met with anger from the patient.  She insisted she didn’t have time for that and verbally abused the assistant.  Overhearing all of this, Dr. Buske intervened.  When the patient continued to be rude, Dr. Buske informed her that wouldn’t be tolerated and excused her from his practice.  Both his assistant and the new patient appreciated how Dr. Buske operated. Sometimes you have to ask yourself what you’re willing to tolerate. What are your standards? To follow Dr. Buske on LinkedIn, click HERE Learn more about your ad choices.
