You're listening to Radio CSW, CSW's official online radio station, online at radiocsw.blogspot.com. Up next, find out what's happening at CSW and around the world, with The Daily, coming up next on Radio CSW. Welcome CSW to The Daily. My name is Josh Holtzman and here's what's new around you.

Good morning CSW. This is just in, I have a cold. I also don't have a lot of time, but here's the news from around the world. The terrorist group ISIS took a heavy hit this weekend as a Syrian opposition group took out about 70 ISIS militants in a slew of airstrikes.

The bodies continued to be dropped off at the Kobani Hospital. More on the developments as they come. A sort of surreal moment arose the Saturday and Sunday as the annual pumping fest in Keene, New Hampshire turned into riots. Roudy crowds threw bottles, set fires, and caused mayhem in the streets of Keene.

Law enforcement was forced to use tear gas and more, as more civilians were injured by the drunk attacks. Meanwhile, Ebola awareness is at an all-time high. The issue has been brought to Congress, other parts of the US and world governments, and even to candy suppliers. Kit Kat and other candy companies are pitching in to help with Ebola efforts.

I bet they're expecting to really help out when the Halloween comes around. A comment called, Siding Spring, Whizzed By Mars this Sunday. It was 87,000 miles away from Mars when the so-called fleet of spacecraft orbiting Mars was forced to duck for cover. No news on the comet coming to Earth yet.

No worries there. Apple fans eagerly await today's release of Apple Pay, or IPay as it's being called. Already pioneered by Android with their electronic paying system, Google Wallet. Electronic paying systems have often sparked worries of electronic security.

Yet Apple claims their product will be even safer than having a plastic credit card. And now for CSW news. A mix of confusion, exasperation, and overall annoyance was spread through the school Friday as the fire alarm in the cafeteria went off two times during the day due to more toaster related incidents. The first time was during breakfast.

Only minutes before school was scheduled to officially start. Those getting off the bus were immediately hurt by a crowd of people down to the lowers. The second happened only 10 minutes into lunch, resulting in the majority of the school evacuating to the lowers. Although the original intent was to do a drill that day or during this week, the plans were most likely canceled taking into account the recent toaster incidents.

Just a friendly reminder from the dining hall that the toaster is for toast only. Thank you. This Wednesday, flu shots will be administered throughout the day in the student lounge, also known as the slouch. If you're signed up to receive one, please make your way there sometime during the day, perfectly not during open plugs because that's when radio lab is...

Sorry, joking. Make sure to get there early because the lines go a bit very, very fast. Just a quick reminder to my advisory, which is Agnes' advisory, that we have lunch duty today at 1240. If you do not join us, I will call you out online with you.

Got it? Good. This Saturday, a majority of juniors took the PSATs, the practice version of the dreaded college admissions test. Though the scores of the Saturday's test will not be sent to colleges, it marks the first step in a long journey to colleges.

To college, the juniors will have only just begun to walk. Last week, Malala Yousafsee, a 17-year-old woman from Pakistan, one of the Nobel Peace Prize. She fought for women's rights in Pakistan, but later survived a shot in the head by an assassin. Her valiant journey for women's rights has become a beacon of hope for the cause around the world.

Jane talks about it in her most recent pocket change. Check it out on the CSW website. Lunch and Intermenus have not been posted. Sorry, no news there.

Shout out to me because I got my license this weekend. Yay! That was unusually high, I'm sorry. That could have been your name there.

If you want to give one of your friends or yourself a shout out on the show, email me at jhopsman2016 at csw.org. We also accept announcements, birthdays, and anything else here on the daily. This space in my program is for you, the CSW community. Enjoy.

Today looks like a cold one with a high of 57 and a low of 45. Luckily, the sun will be out with some clouds to warm us up just a bit. A gentle 10 mile per hour wind and a weaning crescent moon sends us on our merry way into this week. Tomorrow looks a little warmer in the low 60s with a 60% chance of rain, so bring in a brother and a coat.

Follow us here people, get in colder. Well that's all I have time to prepare for today folks. Join us this week for the first episode of our live show, the Radio Lab Report. Also, join us for the classical hour, Jasmine Quad, and more on Radio CSW.

Our theme is improvised by Nick and Will. The script for the daily is written by me, Josh Boltzmann. We're still looking for more voices here on Radio CSW, so contact me. After listening, this has been the Daily.

Have a great week, CSW. And now in honor of me gaining my license, a special presentation of Baby You Can Drive My Car by The Beatles. Thanks for listening in CSW. This is Radio CSW.
