Okay, so like get that out of your mouth. Yes, please get that. Don't chew on mine. Okay, this is Josie and me who's just trying to do on my side of earpods here and my mic is that help me do this.
I can do the day we do. So, today was an up and down day yesterday was an up and down very quick thing. Um, just craziness. Totally, totally craziness.
Um, first of all, it deleted this episode. So now I have to record it again. Um, let's stick around for the fun stuff. So, um, I have to stop saying, um, the, uh, trailer.
I don't care about the trailer. The camper is totally solar sustainable. And I'm sorry if I talked about this before, but I'm going to talk about it again because it's just awesome. Um, I still can't believe that the entire, well, their person says that they don't have the cables necessary to connect everything, which is just ridiculous.
But anyhow, it's all together now and it's totally working. I got the cables from Amazon. Um, there was a super sale on me entire. So I was really stoked about that because I saved a lot of money and I got everything right away.
And, uh, it was even 20 times a point last weekend, which was really cool because I used that to see a lot of your battery, battery costs a lot of that, but it kept down some of it, right? Every little bit counts. You saved, you saved, which is awesome. Um, I always wanted to do solar.
I really, really wanted to do solar just because I like the idea of being self sustainable. I like the idea of having everything, um, where I can control it. And yes, this means that I have to energy budget now. Like I can only watch so many hours of TV.
I can only do so much of it. It's only do so much of that. But the truth is it's totally worth it because I don't have to put anything in this house anymore. Uh, yes, I do have to be careful.
Uh, it's better to use it when the sun is going, but I didn't want to put the TV going, and that's just awesome. Yeah, it's really cool. Like I'm watching a movie on TV right now, which is fantastic. I don't love it.
And it was easy to put together. Um, the math, I found, like, there's only websites where they tell you all these complicated things. And it's just, yes, it's accurate, but it's also really annoying because for people who just want to begin this and figure it out, there should be easy, simple formulas. So I've made the blog and I'm going to publish it probably tomorrow.
But instead of talking about easy, simple formulas to figure out what you need. And, you know, you just can't work from there. It's like the beginning of the day, rather than people who are all complicated and techy and make your eyes place over, like, in mine. And it's just really, really annoying.
So, um, so it's easy to put together. And I really enjoy doing it. I like those little hands on techy. But like hands on mechanical projects where you put things together and they work.
And it didn't work like the first time, which was so, so nice. I did it right. I did have to get bigger Mars from hardware store and I had to get a grounding wire, which, again, those people are out of their cords. They don't know what they're talking about.
Give me this huge wire and it doesn't fit on there. So now I have to get different ones. But I'll do that and I'll get it done. And then it will be safe to use.
Now I'm just running. Not really, but it's just not going to touch. I'm sure a lot of people will give me some more, but it's not as big a deal as they think. Probably have that I had no grounding for years and years, like literally, no grounding.
It's a really old house. I'm pretty sure there was some, you know, not in tube wire. But anyway, awesome. I love them so much.
But the biggest problem putting it together, I'm distracting. I don't know. Still distracted. And you know, the biggest problem that I had putting it together was, you know, literally after me.
I was like, okay, it was a little funny. And the flies and the other biting bug and the bees, like, go away. I'm sorry. I know I live in a travel camp area and all that, but I just I don't like insects.
I don't need you like coming by a little night. Near my ear. It's really annoying. I don't like you.
I haven't got any insects in the house. Now I'm burning peppermint to try and get rid of the flies and I'm putting such it all over me because they're falling me around because they seem to care. And I was like, it worked in town. What is the deal out here?
Yes, it cuts it down. The less of them are annoying me. So instead of getting chased by a thousand, I'm chased by ten. But they're still chasing me.
Those determined little suckers. Like, little vampires, go away. You don't need those, like, those kinds of things. It's a walker to your friend's sex, and I'm not amused.
Yeah, it's not my thing. I don't like insects, go away. And yeah, and yes, I know you're laughing at me because you're like, you're going to go camping. It's nature.
There's insects. It's like, yeah, I get it. I'm just annoyed by some. I just don't want them near me, especially in large quantities.
Don't worry. I'm not really afraid of them, as long as they're not swerving. Just don't want them. So there is a huge difference.
Anyhow, I don't want them to preach into conversation. What am I, a politician? So, here's the fun of like, you haven't had those days where you're like, everything's going really great. That's fantastic.
And then you turn around and everything is like shot to, you know, what? It hits the van and you're like, what is going on here? Like, why is it your university? It has to even out my day.
Like, give me a great and then poop all over me. Like, really? So I got everything put together, which was awesome. And like, in celebration mode.
But nobody wants to celebrate with me. I'm like, oh, that's not really cool. I'm so glad. You know, this is like a personal victory for me.
Like, I've been researching this for the past like, I don't know, five years. And I finally get up to do it. And it works on the first try. And you're all like, eh, that's nice.
Like, really? Give me some cheers, you know? People, people, I live with, well, I don't live with them right now. I'm just tipping in there for months.
People that I love but annoy me. And then, you know, they're happy for me. They're just not celebrating with me. And then, so I had to move stuff underneath the bed to make room for the battery inverter.
And I did a lot of rearranging. So in the process of rearranging things and getting things ready to go and, you know, paring down a few things to make room, I'm supposed to make TV remote. So I've lost the remote. I don't know where it is.
It's really annoying because I'm laying in bed. I'm like, oh, I can flip to emotional. No, I can't. I have to get up.
It's like old TV again. That's not cool. So now I have to thoroughly search. Although I did a thorough search already.
So I have to search again. And if I can find it, I guess I'm going to get a remote and then after that, you know, a month later, I'll find it. You don't have to remember for no good reason. Yeah.
That's my life. Anyhow. Oh, yeah. That's my life.
And then, so today was like, that's it. So I have a high school reunion coming up and I have a going away party coming up. And I want to look cool. I want to look nice.
I want to, you know, I just wanted to have my hair done. So I've got some dye and then I'm doing it. And it's just, it was just, wow, it was not going well. Ladies, you know, when you dye your hair, you're supposed to do the towel, wear it on shirt or not that, or you just put it right in and you just don't wear a shirt.
So you're there, you're brown. You're doing your hair. That's how it works. Now, this stuff is supposed to be a nice, like, flashy, or red, a little bit brighter than all of them, but other.
Yeah. No. I mixed it according to directions and it was like blood. It was like a crime scene through up on my hair.
It was like, I had had women cut myself open. It was crazy, crazy ridiculous. And I'm reading instructions like maybe a little intense. And I'm like, intense.
That is not what the box looks like. That is not what the box says. Like, what is this going on? I've got, like, red blood on the cream linoleum.
So that took some comment and elbow grease to get out. And so I've got my hair, like, over halfway done. And I'm looking out at the mirror going, this is not right. I don't know why I'm doing this.
This is just not right. This is not working. I am not going to like this. Why did I do this?
And the doorbell goes, because I'm in my grow up with a bloody head. So I'm sitting there going, I don't have time for this. I'm pretty sure I said that. Well, I'd like to.
No, I don't have time for this. Are you kidding me? And then I'm going to go again. So I wash my hands and I put, like, a clip in my hair, wash my hands.
And then I ran, what? I didn't run through the door. I put my zipper hoodie on. I don't even think I did it all up.
But anyhow, put it on. And I go to the door. And when we have, we've got these two old ladies. And I said, you're fine.
Well, because I can be seriously coming over. And she's kind of an older lady because, but she's not as old as these people. So I'm like, hello? Can I help you?
It's the joke who witnesses. Mm-hmm. They're like, oh, hi. I'm like, you know, hi.
I'm a little busy right now. Oh, wow. I'm like, yeah, I'm in the middle of dying my hair. I'm like, and they're like, what does she do?
I'm like, he's great. He's out today. Oh, but I'll take one of the magazines for him if you want. Okay, that'll be great.
Fantastic. Anyhow, I'm busy, though. Yeah, I can see you're busy. Welcome back later.
I'm like, yeah, I got you do that. Hi, Kathy. Yeah, not Kathy. Fantastic, Professor.
Look, really? Why should I explain this to you right now? I've got money here, or at least it looks like it. Oh, yeah, it's getting me.
So I wash it out as best as I can. And I've got this red hair sitting at me in the mirror. And I'm like, this is ridiculous. And I go how much time because I got to pick up this from school.
Not my kids, my sister's kids, because I said that I would. And they're all the way in London. So I got to leave on time. I'm like, why is this happening?
Like, really, I came off such a peak victory yesterday. Why is this happening? Yep, I don't know. There's some sort of lesson in this.
I will figure it out someday. But right now, oh, no, I know what the lesson is. I'm not going to, there's no point in trying to go for a cool color, because I want backfire, madly, deeply, irrevocably. Well, not entirely irrevocably, but, you know, in the backfire.
So I go to the nearest town. Oh, wait. Yeah. I zip up the hoodie.
Mm-hmm. Wash it up the hair. Put it up. Put it on a ball cap.
Go to the nearest town. Go to the dark store, which has, like, very few hair dyes to choose from. And I go with the master hair dye. Nice and easy.
Choose nice and easy. It covers gray, 100%. Like, it will cover your mistakes. It will.
You make a mistake with color? It'll cover it. You have to pick a dark color, but it will cover it. And yes, I double-processed in one day.
Big deal. That's an extra conditioning, and it will be fine. So, super frantically upset by this. I think we have one color, nice and easy, with one color.
And it's a really, really dark brown. And I'm sitting here, like, well, no choice now. I thought it at exorbitant price, because it's, like, price and a half of what it would be in the other town, which is slightly further away. I don't have time to go there.
Because that would be added to, like, 20 to 30 minutes on my journey. So, get home. Dry my hair. Brush it out.
Look at the bloodiness in the mirror, because it's, like, about this fuchsia going on. And I'm like, it's not supposed to be fuchsia. How is it fuchsia? Well, it's fuchsia.
Like, it's supposed to be deep, vibrant, not fuchsia. Intense fuchsia. Maybe five minutes of the whole time? I don't think so.
It was blood on my head. It was no way it was going to be that. I was not cool, I think. How are you?
So, anyway, it was terrible. So, I put on a new hair color, and, like, this is getting really dark. Just sucks. It's going to be darker than what I want.
It's not what I want. But, oh, well, once again, Josie runs in lessons. She cannot be cool in any way she can or for. It's just not happening.
It's not who she is. It's never going to come out that way. Just give up on that. So, you know, everyone's lying.
You have a little fantasy that you can improve yourself and be better with what you are. You know, you're going to have that commercial where everything goes right instead of, like, tripping down the stairs or up the stairs. Yeah, tripped upstairs. It takes a talent.
So, it's just, yeah, wonderful. Oh, so wonderful. So, where's it at? And it's, like, black on the bottom, kind of like a purpley blue black on the bottom.
And then it's kind of, like, this really dark, dark brown with a touch of red. And then it's, like, brown with red on top. I don't know how that happened because I put it on the wrist first. So, you think the roots would be darkest?
No, they're not. The ends of the era are darkest. I don't know. So, it looks really interesting.
It's, like, a backwards valley. Oh, yeah. On the backwards. Oh, that's the one.
I don't know. It's weird. It looks really cool. It's definitely not what I was trying for.
That's my life with my hair. This is the reason why I don't go to hairdressers. Because I'll tell them what I want. And then I'll come out with something totally different.
Like, I'll slap down a picture. I'll be like, I want something like this. And I'll come out and I'll be like, charge $300 later, looking at myself going, that's not what I like to picture at all. Ever.
No. I give up with my hair. I should just let it grow out. Shave it and let it grow out.
I know other people seem to like it. So, that's a good news. I'm warming up to it. I'm not sure if I shouldn't cut the black off the bottom, but then I have to cut.
But I grew for the last year and a bit. And I was thinking about it again. So, I don't know. Anyway, if you want to see the picture, you can look up on Facebook.
Under Josephine Biden. The INTEMA. And it's up there on my story right now. Well, for the next hour of many hours, until it expires.
But it is there. And, yeah, it's my new hair. Anyhow, like I said, the blog is going to show the solar stuff tomorrow. Hopefully, tomorrow.
So, go have a look at the blog. www.travelly.gov, all one word. No capitals. Anyhow, it shouldn't be a really decent day because I got a whole kit.
And that was awesome. I went and picked up the three girls and we went to the farm. And I saw Zoe, the little dog, and I saw the cats, and we saw the kittens. We decided which one cries loudest when we separated from the bunch and hold onto it.
Because they just have their eyes open. And they're really nice colors. And, you know, they just, they love each other. And two of them really don't like being picked up.
So, it was interesting to see which one was louder. But the other ones, they were really great. And they're beautiful. And we didn't hold them for everyone.
We just put them back. And their mama's okay with it because she used to the girls. And it was a lot of fun. And they haven't named me yet.
They're really cute little kittens. So, we haven't been able to take them in a few weeks. Let me know. I'll pass on order.
I'll let them know. But I'm raised from a little mother in the house right now. But from a little milking operation in Ontario. Yeah, they milked us.
It's really cool. I should actually take some pictures. I'll be like, here, they milked us. This is what they do.
That would be an interesting little blog, a little visit. So, anyhow, it was a good day because I got a whole kit. And even though my hair was a total mess and I had to go in my bra. Okay, I covered up.
I added it. Yes, I know. There is humor in there. And it's a funny story, which is why I shared it.
And yeah, if you've got a funny story, or if you want to be on the show, or you know somebody who should get interviewed, have something to say. Talk about stuff. You know, everybody has those moments which are really great. If you're a camper and you enjoy camping or so, you know, contact me.
It's J-B-E-I-N-T-E-M-A at Yahoo.ca. Or you can contact me on the blog. Traveling with Josie in the Bean. And you'll find the Facebook page.
This is page on the group page. You can always leave a line, you know, say, hey, I'd like to be on the show. Or I know somebody who can't. So maybe they want to be on the show.
This is how you contact them, you know. We're looking for new topics and people can discuss that from places to go. And learning new things and all that. So, anyhow, have a great night and we'll talk to you later.
And you want to say anything Bean? You want to say bye? Yes? Bean says goodnight.
Bye.
