You're listening to Radio CSW, CSW's online radio station, online at radiocsw.brockspot.com. Hello, while you're listening to The Daily, I'm doing this live because I don't have that much time. Welcome to The Daily. Welcome all to The Daily.
I don't have a whole lot of time, so here's the news in brief. Still much attention around the man in New York City who tested positive for Ebola, inconsistent in changing points of his procedures and policies made the issue a priority for the government this weekend. He had another school shooting in a school outside Seattle this Friday when a 15-year-old student opened fire in a crowded cafeteria. Two were killed in the attack, including the shooter.
A full report will be issued today regarding the shooting. An Iranian woman convicted of murder was put to death this week. Though the evidence suggests that she was protecting herself from a rapist, the sentence was ended nevertheless by this execution. There was much international pressure for her release, and tensions between the countries involved in the case, and Iran had heightened.
And now for CSW news. As I told you, I don't have a lot of time, so. Perch's Day was a success. On Friday, CSW opened its doors to the maternal and paternal forces whom presided in our students' lives.
Repressions were made through many mediums, including a very impressive assembly with stunning performances from the music department, the dance department, and more, as well as two impressive presentations from the Perch's Day class and a very technical presentation from the iGEM synthetic biology team. The day ended with more class visits and teacher meetings. On Thursday, Friday, and Saturday night, three fantastic performances of the insect play that all production were put on, all which stunned the audience with colorful costumes, an impressive set, and an audacious script which was shown in the setting of CSW. Hopefully we'll have a review on the station soon.
If someone doesn't send me one soon, I'll be forced to do one myself. So, better start submitting, everybody. Today's lunch looks like a green curry shift with rice pilaf and carrots. At the soup bar there, there's chicken noodle soup and potato leek soup.
Dessert is confetti cupcakes. Dinner is a hearty beat stew with white rice, broccoli, and french bread, as well as the leftover cupcakes. It will be a very warm day with a high of 68 and a low of 54, partly cloudy with low winds, very high humidity averaging at around 80%, and a waxing crescent moon in the evening. I'm becoming increasingly rushed to these reports, especially seeing that I'm the only one here at CSW actually making programs for Radio CSW.
I can't do this up for much longer, folks, so I hope you'll start submitting soon. I'm doing these shows merely as fillers in hopes that CSW will take advantage of their new media outlet. I'll be happy to continue producing the daily activity of CSW, but we need more people to take advantage of the things I created for this community. So that this week's radio lab and broadcasting live during the radio lab report on Wednesday, both open blocks.
We'll be brainstorming ideas for more shows and how to go about producing them. I'd love to see Radio CSW become self-supporting before the end of this year, so we can finally have a reliable, consistent, and constant media outlet for the great minds, ideas, artists, and voices we have here at CSW. This is a window of people, and I'm merely keeping it open, so take that wooden block and jam it into that opening, folks. Anyway, that's all I have time for today, so our theme was created by Nick and Will, scripted by me, John Holtzman.
Thanks for listening.
