He discovered his human nature from his Mom and her kindness and wisdom. He says that here is no need to know...but to enjoy the process, this is what we can experience and enjoy. Our practice is in the journey and THE journey . Human nature is basically kind, but if we aren't given a good root, it's hard to be kind. The Dali Lama he says looks not at the differences, but at what we all have in common and how we can accept our life and take the actions we need. Then we can go beyond religion and discover our true nature through humility. He chats about raising his son here and why they have no electronics Monday to Friday and why they always find time to communicate and share everyday.
