The Dam: Safe Spaces, Safe People | Trinity Talks Podcast

from Trinity Streetsville

Safe places and safe people are things that all of us need, no matter how old. The Dam provides those places and people for youth in Mississauga. Starting as an upstream response to homeless youth living in Toronto, The Dam offers drop-in programs, meals, mentorship opportunities and much more to youth living in the Meadowvale and Cooksville areas. Join us as Ken Dryfhout, Program Director, takes us on a tour of The Dam in Meadowvale. We discuss the joys and challenges of working with vulnerable youth, food insecurity, homelessness, and how we can all support youth to find their inner spark despite the trauma and struggles they have faced.#YouthEmpowerment #YouthHomelessness #YouthOutreach #CommunityDevelopment #ChurchPodcast #ChristianPodcast #OnLocation
