The Danger of Ignoring God

This week, we continue our series, Quest for a King, in the book of 1 Samuel. In chapter 2, Eli’s sons dishonor their priestly role, so God declares judgment on Eli’s family and promises to raise up a faithful priest, ultimately pointing to Jesus. Pastor Eric highlights four key takeaways from the text: 1) We ignore God by ignoring his instruction. 2) Blessing comes with obedience to God. 3) We ignore God by ignoring counsel to kill sin in our life. 4) Don’t ignore Jesus.
