A film that focuses on Einar and his wife Gerde as Einar discovers his true self and transitions into Lili. An elegant film that truly breaks down the struggles and triumph of transition, isolation, and the strength of true love standing by the person you love side, no matter the issues. The Danish Girl is a fantastic film that should have more love, sending a message that everyone should be entirely themselves.
