Today's Agenda 1) Is US Too Dependent on China for Critical Materials?  China has almost full domination over Rare Earth mining and finished production into materials like permanent magnets used in missile guidance systems.  And Taiwan--which China claims is really under their sovereignty---produces chips for 1.4 billion smartphones, and 92%  of worlds most sophisticated chips, at its TSMC plants. Is this dependence a problem?  What should we do?2)  Defense Appropriation for 2021:  Is it Sufficient to Address Current Threat Levels? Spending on defense is necessary, but needs to be smart.  Do advanced  military systems need to be so expensive?3) Why was Proud Boys Leader 36 yr old Enrique Tarrio invited as speaker at Boca Ration Republican Club? On  May 3,  2021,  the Boca Raton Regional Republican Club,  promoted the $45 May 3 dinner .  The club’s President, Armand Grossman, is the former vice mayor of Miami Springs, Florida.  In Dec 2020 in Wash DC Mr. Tarrio was  arrested, and police allegedly discovered two high-capacity firearm magazines in his possession.
