The pretext for such violence was a police shooting of a young Algerian-Moroccan while he was seated in his car. Apparently he tried to drive away, so was shot. Why are all these riots going on? Is this just police brutality, racism, or something deeper?2)Israel Raids Palestine Refugee Camp in Jenin: In the Occupied West Bank, the Jenin refugee camp of 14,000 has been raided by 2,000 armed Israeli Self Defense Forces. At least ten Palestinians have been killed, and 50 wounded, including many civilians. The operation has been going on for more than two days.
