1)UN Commission Report on Israel and Gaza: A three year long UN Special Commission of Inquiry just concluded both Hamas and the State of Israel committed gross war crimes. Their report is scheduled to be delivered to the UN's Human Rights Council this week. It mentions Israel obstructed its investigation, and prevented its access to Israel and the Occupied Territories. What should we make of this UN report?2)Is US-Built Floating Pier in Gaza A Failure?: The US Army's Central Command built a $350 million floating pier to supply humanitarian relief to Gaza from Cyprus. But for the second time in a few weeks, it is being dismantled due to 'high seas'. Is this pier a floating folly? And why was it considered necessary in the first place?3)G-7 Members Announce $50 Billion Payment For Ukraine: At the end of the G-7 Summit last week, they announced that $50 billion coming from interest earnings on Russian frozen bank accounts in Europe would be transferred to Ukraine to help pay for costs of the war and reconstruction efforts. But they did not transfer the actual frozen accounts, only interest earnings. What do you think?
