The Day After

In today’s episode, we are going somewhere most Rapture teaching does not. We are going to the day after. I am not dogmatic about it but have explained many times the biblical likelihood of the Rapture coinciding with the Feat of Trumpets. The Feast of Trumpets, or Rosh Hashanah, is this weekend. and it creates a vivid picture in my mind. Imagine waking up to voicemails, text messages, and news stories of mass chaos. Empty beds still warm from body heat, airplanes 30,000 feet in the air missing a pilot and 100 passengers, running cars on the interstate with no drivers or passengers. That will be the morning after the trumpet sounds to Rapture those in Christ. Believers can expect to experience five things at the moment of the Rapture: instant bodily transformation, seeing the Jesus we have only known by faith until that day, reuniting with loved ones gone before, the Judgement Seat of Christ, and the lavish Marriage Supper of the Lamb. Meanwhile the world will be experiencing five very different things without Jesus: the shock of millions of missing people, overwhelming grief and society collapsing, the Antichrist rising to prominence, people accepting the Mark of the Beast, and the beginning of the Tribulation.
