The Day I Almost Did Not Make It

I almost didn’t make it. There’s no other way to say it. It was a miracle I survived. And it has taken me days to even find the strength to talk about it out loud. Physically, I’m recovering. But emotionally... that’s where the real healing begins. We don’t always get a second chance. But if we do—we owe it to ourselves to be grateful and treasure it. This is my new beginning. Thank you that you are still here and thank you for waiting for me.
