“The Day of the Lord - Phase 3 - The Millennial Kingdom - Christ, the Priest - Part 3"

As Galatians 3:17 & 18 state so clearly and powerfully, the Abrahamic Covenant was established entirely on the basis of Abraham’s personal faith through the Seed of the Woman promise given by Almighty God to him.  There were no required works and no law in place at that time.  All was of the promise concerning the Seed singular and plural (Gal. 3:16).  When the Law was given 400 years later, Paul argued there, the Promise to Abraham was in effect and could not be set aside by the addition of the Mosaic Covenant with its required works.  Therefore salvation was available under the law by the terms of the Abrahamic Covenant and by therefore faith alone. Paul points out also that those promises were unconditional on the part of man but dependent on the Seed himself being offered for the sin of Adam and the sins of all mankind.  The Priesthood according to Melchisedic is a priesthood founded on that once for all sacrifice and all other sacrifices have their true meaning only as they are types looking forward or remembrances looking backwards to that one perfect sacrifice.  Finally, animal sacrifices will be reinstituded during both the Tribulation period and in the Millennial Kingdom -- alongside the promise of the Seed of the Woman.  Only faith in that one sacrifice for all will bring salvation of sinners living at that time.
