The Deadly Chaos of the Gijon and Laxham (1884)

In the North Australian from November 7th, 1884 the following account could be found: “About half past seven on the evening of the 21st, we were in a thick fog, with whistle blowing. Our captain and the second mate were on the bridge, and a man was on the lookout on the forecastle head.
