Every few months it seems like a well-known Christian leaves the Faith. It's as if there's a deconstruction movement and those who jump on the trend are applauded for their bravery. Leaving "toxic Christianity" for a more inclusive and passive Jesus sounds appealing and it seems to be catching on. David Wolcott has studied Progressive Christianity and knows more about the deconstruction trend than most.
