People at that time would wear animal skins to disguise themselves from these ghosts. Joseph warns that participating in this festival exposes us to witchcraft.  He also reminds us that one must be born of water and spirit to enter the kingdom of God. Our physical bodies serve as gatekeepers, blocking us from the realm of the spirit, both good and evil.
