The interview volume was fairly lower than at the show's beginning, so I had to adjust my volume. The opening was all about you. As a new listener, I don't care about you (it sounds harsh but it's true) especially when you have someone who was HOMELESS AT 16! Why are you burying the lead? If you asked someone, "what would you like to hear first my report on a band from the 90's or the story of a woman who was homeless at 16?" Also, my wife and I are going to top gun. If you want to include this stuff, put it at the end of the show where the super listeners are.I was surprised by a few of your questions. Do you remember the day your mother abandoned you? She said yes, and then you moved on. I'm pretty sure the audience feels that is a typical response. I'm not sure it added much to the story.Then (after revealing she was a victim) you follow up with, "Why did you pick the Navy over other armed services?" I just found that odd. This may be due to your experience in service, but for me, I was like, "What does that have to do with overcoming her hurdles?Who is this show for?
