The Desire of Ages by Ellen G. White | The Life, Ministry, Death & Resurrection of Jesus Christ Part 2

⭐ Catholic Review — 4/5 Stars A deeply Christ-centered work with much that Catholic readers can appreciate, particularly its emphasis on the divinity of Christ, His love and mercy, His suffering and sacrifice, the Cross, the Resurrection, prayer, humility, and the call to Christian holiness. However, Ellen G. White was a foundational figure of Seventh-day Adventism, and the book reflects distinctly Adventist theology rather than Catholic teaching; readers should therefore distinguish its devotional reflections from Catholic doctrine and Sacred Tradition. The book can be valuable as a Protestant/Adventist meditation on the life of Christ, while Catholic readers should approach its theological interpretations with discernment.
